A Warm Welcome from Autumn Clark
Hello and welcome! I’m Autumn Clark—though, yes, you’ve likely gathered that much already from the website. I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce myself, share a bit of my story, and hopefully let you catch a glimpse of the person behind the brand.
Let me start with a confession: I am not what one would call “tech-savvy.” In fact, before writing this, I had to phone a few younger friends to ask what, exactly, a blog even is! I had always assumed blogs needed to be purely informative—something resembling a digital encyclopedia. But I’ve since learned they’re more of a conversation, a space to connect and let a bit of personality shine through. So here I am, ready to chat! (Fair warning: being half Italian and half Dutch means I was blessed with the gift of conversation… and I use it often.)
A little professional background: I hold a degree in Small Business Management with a focus in Hospitality, and my dream has long been to own a wedding venue. My wonderfully pragmatic husband, Stuart—who, I swear, is still hanging on to his third-grade lunch money—wanted that dream to come true but insisted we do it wisely. After 17 years of marriage, our balance of passion and practicality has led us to an exciting new chapter.
In February 2025, we found our slice of heaven—74 wooded acres near Syracuse, New York. Picture it: the stillness of winter, everything blanketed in snow, and two red foxes dashing through the trees just as we wondered if we were dreaming too big. We took that magical moment as a sign from above—and Red Fox Journeys was born.
Now, you might be wondering, “So where does the travel agency fit into all of this?” Well, I’ve been a Travel Advisor for over eight years, and I adore what I do. Helping clients craft meaningful, luxurious, and deeply personal travel experiences brings me immense joy. So while Stuart and I are building our dream venue, I’ll continue designing bespoke journeys that reflect your dreams, your style, and your story.
After all, travel—like love—isn’t just about the destination. It’s about the experience, the connection, and the memories that linger long after the journey ends.
Warmly (and with a little sparkle),
Autumn Clark ✨
Founder, Red Fox Journeys
